I love creating colorful clean images that tells a story and invokes a smile. Technically proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite with 17 years experience in Adobe Photoshop & 5 years experience in Lightroom.
I got my start in image processing from my background in Astronomy where I worked with the Hubble Heritage Team creating press-release color images.
I have taught college level courses on Image Processing and am currently a freelance photo editor at LISH Creative.

Seeing Beyond: The James Webb Space Telescope. I edited the video in Final Cut Pro X.
First Light: The Dark Age of the Universe. This is the first of a series of videos that will highlight the science behind the James Webb Space Telescope. I edited the video in Final Cut Pro X and created some of the titles in After Effects.
AstroDrizzle. This video explains using the AstroDrizzle software to improve the resolution of Hubble images. I created the animation and motion graphics using After Effects.
Creating a Hubble Galaxy in Two Minutes. Here’s how the image processors at the Space Telescope Science Institute create the beautiful color Hubble images. I combined screen captures in iMovie and helped with the titles in After Effects.
Webb’s Field of Observation. I made this animation about the orbit of the James Webb Space Telescope for the Webb Space Telescope Science Guide iBook. Created in After Effects. Graphics by Ann Feild and 3D animation by Greg Bacon at STScI.
Sequences produced by the 3Dviz team at the Space Telescope Science Institute. I developed a star and galaxy image extraction tool using SourceExtractor (an astronomy program for identifying objects) and a Python script to create image cutouts of individual stars and galaxies to be placed in 3D. Final visualizations produced in Maya. These are the visualizations I contributed to.
